Fernandina Beach, Florida

Located at the northern end of Florida's Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach is also known as the "Isle of Eight Flags." It is the only municipality in the United States to have flown eight different national flags including Spain, France, Great Britain and Mexico. The first recorded European visitor was French Huguenot explorer Jean Ribault in 1562.

Fernandina Beach is also home to Ft. Clinch. This 19th century fort is now a Florida State Park and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
