Amerisips is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council® and is committed to building LEED®-certified homes. LEED® is a program of the U.S. Green Building Council®, a non-profit community of professionals working to bring green building to everyone within a generation. A green home is designed to have a positive impact on energy efficiency, environmental performance and human well being. LEED is a point-based certification system that measures how well a home performs as a green home. LEED for Homes recognizes performance in eight areas:
